Yep, it's probably an M1A1M. both the US and Russia export stripped down versions of their hardware to other countries, colloquially known as "monkey models". I think those Iraqi models don't have the modern electronics packages and rangefinders. I know for a fact they don't have depleted uranium in the armor and probably not in the ammo either. US electronics completely eclipse those of every other military and DU is basically the US's cheat code to win conventional wars. That said, I have no idea if a TOW would defeat a completely souped out Abrams. My hunch says no to the front armor, but yes to the side and rear, but I'm sure the army isn't anxious to advertise it one way or another.
