I watched the Das Tal vid and the game play looks interesting. I am really at the point where I want aimed abilities rather than the automatic hit ones that so many games use. It looked like the play was a little clunky. I read that you use WASD for movement in it; does your character face the direction your mouse is pointing? Also are classes locked into certain abilities or can you choose from a set of abilities?

I watched the Albion video as well. I'm interested in it since the game allows full loot from what I have read but I'm a little taken back by the combat I saw. It looked a bit slow paced and it seemed like you can't body block people you are fighting that are running away (the video seemed to be largely you guys chasing after people that were running away). If LoD is going to be going into the game officially then I will most likely buy beta access.

How is shards? I hadn't heard of it but the fact that it is being created by former UO lead developers make it sound promising (unless they were the ones that made the game go carebear). Is it worth buying the pre-alpha access? I broke up with my gf of a couple years and don't feel like wasting my money on girls for a while so I'm looking for a game to play and I searched a lot for open world full loot/any loot pvp MMOs but I didn't have much luck.
