Dude Harry, do you even sarcasm? My entire post was meant in a snarky way and written assuming that whoever read it had watched the video. I'd think you'd have figured out by now that 75% of the shit I post on these forums is sarcastic shit talk. Maybe I should have posted this along with my words to really drive the sarcasm home?

Not going to go into some long repeat of what I have already said and Hexen did a pretty good job of summarizing how I feel anyway.
To take a step back and consider the broader issue of freedom in general, every free/democratic society must determine the amount of freedom it's willing to give up for "safety", aka government control. Total and complete freedom means anarchy, which nobody wants. The other end of the spectrum is totalitarianism, like North Korea. The very nature of a free society is that the more freedom the citizens are allowed, the more crime will happen because the criminals get the same protections as the law abiding citizens. A lot of citizens in 1st world countries have decided that only the government should have guns. America is not one of those countries. You can love that or hate it but to say we only wants guns because we like guns and don't give a fuck about other people's lives is a massive oversimplification of the argument.
