Dhal]"Hardcore will mean exactly what you think it means"
That was about as in-depth as it went. +no 3rd person in HC. Pretty Vague answers I agree - But at least they will give us options and what would seem like a lot of different rulesets

Also I'm not sure what seemed carebear about the game. There's no Lore/direction/npc's other than zombies and wild animals.
Property assets come with a built-in locking mechanism and system that you can add people to a list to allow them access (didn't go into great detail). Built-in locking mechanism sounds a lot like how that mod you and Moxie are playing.
Not sure if that's what seemed carebear-ish.

Also there is no Karma system, so you can't tell who's a good guy/bad guy. They feel that ruins part of the "survival" qualities. They also seem to cherish the idea of tricking people.

I thought they mentioned they were wanting to add some sort of karma like system? Maybe I just heard it wrong as they seemed to bounce back and forth and mention things multiple times.
I liked that they said they didn't want to make the game at all pay to win even with adding a cash shop, they wanted to reward players for playing. I just hope the loot penalty is a harsh penalty, I know they mentioned your cash shop loot would take durability hits but you won't axtually lose it a death.

Oh no, someone asked about karma system and they said no dice. If anything it will be added by the ruleset options of the different servers which in the past sounded like a reddit upvote/downvote system; with some official servers w/ rules 'locked in'.
Basically, this is keeping the familiarity of community servers from existing survival games, and their adjusted rulesets/mechanic sets. But without the concern of admin abuse etc. that comes along with being a community server.
*They even mentioned modding will be in; no idea how they're going to do that one, Steam Workshop maybe?

"Is H1Z1 going to be better than Day Z day 1? No it won't."
Umm, then why the fuck would I play it?
DayZ has absolutely no fucking features finished yet, and they are saying this game is less complete?
DayZ just added 1 vehicle, and it doesn't even break/repair or have parts.
DayZ is still using their old rendering engine that they have been trying to update for over a year. Are they saying that H1Z1 is going to be even clunkier than DayZ's old rendering engine?
Why would they make such a stupid fucking statement unless there game is stripped down like DayZ and missing all of its features?

No it was truthful and I think rainmans statement is pretty accurate, I'm just being optimistic.

They were probably just being political about it. The DayZ standalone is a steaming pile of shit and I hope to god h1z1 is better.
