It tries to be a god of war game but the combat/combo system isnt nearly as good. Lots of unlocks and character spec stuff more than GoW though, and the ways enemies remember you and new ones get promoted when they kill you is pretty interesting. The character models and voice acting is top notch, story and cut scenes also top notch like walking a LOTR sequel. Worth the money, its fun.

I love that everything in it feels organic...like every mission and side mission doesn't take place in an instance. Shit is always constantly going on. You can be doing a side mission to shoot people with a bow and get rushed by a captain that is just patrolling by.
I do wish you started out WAY WAY weaker than you do.
The power struggles are cool, and there are a bunch of features and concepts that are amazing. I think it is a significant release and feels very next gen. Worth the purchase for sure.

The level of detail, voice acting, and character development of each boss is really amazing.
I fought this guy called The Cook and he had chopped up hands and feet in this little front pocket on his apron. Fucking cool shit.

Yeah its awesome. I just found a captain that I thought I had killed earlier. I threw him off a building and it said he was dead. Anyway...when I found him again he was all "you thought that fall killed me, but it only stunned me long enough for you to run away". The little stuff like that is just amazing.
