Vermithrax]I'm with you there. Once shots are fired, they have every right to use the tools at their disposal to protect their lives and the lives of the innocent. Mainly, my biggest issue is they rolled all this shit out ahead of time and I think the air of intimidation they created out the gate was a large contributing factor to things escalating the way they have.
Yep I agree. Since this is not a third world country war zone and instead dealing with American citizens (however fucked up I think they truly are), police need to apply the maximum amount of discretion in their use of force.
Peaceful demonstration? Out there in blues and make sure people are doing everything legal.
Demonstration getting a rowdy? Strap on the riot gear.
Shots fired, vandalism, fires, etc? Roll out the big guns, disperse the crowd.
