They gotta go all out for Madden commercials to hype it up even more due to the extremely flawed gameplay each and every year.

Actually, it's gotten a lot better lately and I'm excited about the improvements they're making this year. The game has always been too easy on offense and frustrating as fuck on defense. The new tackling mechanics, defensive camera, DB play, disguised coverage, and QB inaccuracy changes will go a long way to make it a more realistic game.

I remember like 2 or 3years ago I would just use a OLB to jump like Michael Jordan and hawk INTs like it was cakewalk all day. It was way too easy imo. That was the last year I played.

Yeah. Or I would draft receivers based on height and just lob shit and you can one hand catch it. Or my favorite is the 5 yard leaps you can make with DEs and OLBs to just wreck QBs from a mile off.

I used to play Madden religiously for 10 years, then I just said "fuck this game. Never again."

Did they ever add any depth to drafting players in fantasy mode? I remember that it just used to say the same shit all the time and it never had any actual relevance to your player's stats.

Madden is better than it used to be but no sports game holds a candle to The Show. I always pickup Madden though cause it's only $60 and kind of a tradition to kick off the football season.
