Vampires and 4% of the population vanishing are supernatural events. I just meant that I felt people responded to those supernatural phenomena in a much more.... human way... in the Leftovers. People just react like idiots in the Strain. But, based on Obs's post, it may be premature to make that sort of judgment since all those events that irritated me happened simultaneously. So maybe they weren't idiots... maybe Guillermo Del Toro needs to do a better job with his fucking timeline! Haha. I'm intrigued though, the bathtub scene at the end of the last episode was pretty wicked.

Holy shit. Best episode yet this season... and good lord, that last episode made Oberyn's death look peaceful.

Yea it was pretty unreal. I guess the vow of silence is less important when your skull is being smashed in by rocks.

The call with the federal agent was fucking weird. And they just burn up all the bodies even though they're supposed to be doing forensic examinations on them. Weird.

The Strain is just killing me. It's like there are five believable reactions to an event, and the writers come up with the one that just makes you fucking facepalm every time.

My fucking God....ADD is less prevalent in an all boys 3rd grade glass than in these forums. If you want to talk about The Strain, make a new thread FFS? Notice the title of the thread? Keep it on track, please. I'm literally begging you. Can we have one, JUST ONE, thread that doesn't derail into nonsense.

Re: Leftovers....the new episode....Wayne pops up again and "takes Nora's pain". Reminds me of The Green Mile. He also says he's seen his own death and doesn't have much time. Interesting.

In Nora's conference, when she walks in on part of the presentation, they are discussing prophets, and Jesus' pic is up when she walks in. Then the episode more or less ends with the scene with Wayne. Seems like foreshadowing, but who knows.
