I haven't read the thread in a long while, but I certainly never said cops were Nazis, let alone all cops. I know several police officers (one of my cousins in fact). The ones in my county and nearby city that I've met (town more really to you guys, maybe 5k population) are chill. I've had one bad run in with an officer in Indianapolis but... I encourage you to be careful throwing out such statements and putting words in others mouths. I do have less respect for those officers carrying out such orders that I do not agree with in principle. Yeah it's a job, but that doesn't excuse them in my opinion.

I see that law as a very slippery slope and hope there are some really conscientious judges who hand out such orders sparingly. I certainly wouldn't want the task of ordering someone's freedoms taken away.

I've always been sensible Rok. I just don't particularly care for cops. I do believe most of them are good. Unfortunately, I've had run ins with bad ones. Not for a long time, but in my youth, quite a few times. I will leave it at that.

As for the gun thing....just because I believe in the 2nd amendment doesn't mean I think everyone should have guns. There's a lot of people out there who have no business ever touching a firearm.

Admitting that police are part of a system of revenue generation first with public welfare only coming second is not a "nut job" stance. So the supreme court decisions that police are not required to protect anyone and the recommendation to the public of not speaking to police must make the whole supreme court "nut jobs" right? straws bro.

Cops are part of a system that is corrupt by nature, ever heard of private jails? they are but simply one cog in the wheel. Ive already outlined common sense policies to alter the way the PD's around the nation are held accountable, those would be a good start.

From a policy standpoint you cant regulate human behavior. So you think if somebody was going to pay the stupid amount of money to own a flame thrower or grenade launcher you really believe they would commit crimes? Doubtful. Just like all the people who own class III firearms that are not shooting things up.

How do we determine mentally ill? All of these recent shootings wouldn't have been stopped by another law, we already have them on the books.

Everyone's perception is their reality, am I right? You had a dad in law enforcement (if you weren't trolling about that). If you and your dad were close, your perception of law enforcement is going to be highly based on that. Same with Anti, since he is a cop. Similarly, for those of us who have had bad experiences, our perception is going to be very different.
