False once again, I proved that one of the justifications for the use of MRAP's by local PD's is the threat of highly trained veterans coming home from the wars. The police are stockpiling and acquiring military gear so that's not really in question. I was also asking the
question as to why they need said gear and one possibility could be the threat of a revolution; but you came up with that on your own.
