I linked an article about a real situation where cops responded to a domestic dispute call in a MRAP and ended up shooting an unarmed man in the chest and killing him.

Go read the fucking article dude. I'm not making shit up.

Commenting 7 pages in when you have no idea what's been posted makes you look really silly.

Tell me why I should bother reading your posts? Logic means nothing to you and the majority of your posts are so far out of reality it's laughable.

Everyone on these forums knows that you and gfit hate all laws and all law enforcement. The very people that protect you are actually just assholes abusing the law and their main goal in life is to kill and do ridiculous shit that fits into your mold of what you want them to be. I do acknowledge that there are law enforcement officers out there that make mistakes and/or may even be corrupt. However, I'd rather not acknowledge them because, in my opinion, they will get theirs.

Nothing personal, you're just uneducated on a lot of issues. You were the same person that argued until blue in the face that driving an atv at law enforcement, screaming at them, walking at them, with fists clenched, all while inciting a riot was actually a peaceful demonstration of his rights...

Never mind they stormed into his house and woke him out of a dead sleep and that he pulled a gun legally registered to him to protect himself and his family, not knowing what was going on. He deserved it. How fucking DARE he draw down on men breaking into his home and pointing guns at him?

I wasn't there on this issue so i don't really have an answer for you, I can play devils advocate...
What would you do when staring down the barrel of an assault rifle...throw your poke-ball at him? That issue goes to court and because it's totally justifiable to shoot a person pointing a gun at you, you go at the other issues in the case. Was the order to enter the house lawful, there was a valid-signed search warrant. Did they give notice? I wasn't there so that's where we don't know the answer. If you have such a problem with the way law enforcement handles thing why don't you guys provide your expertise in tactics and strategy, then we could critique you...

I guess we could just enforce the laws the Vermi/Gfit way and sit in our patrol stations playing cards...fuck laws, people don't want us to enforce them so I think we'll just do nothing. That's probably not going to happen...

Having just bored you all with a wall of text, I don't think it's fair to let you guys keep believing that all law enforcement profile/target prior military. I won't go into all the ways that I or LE in general can cut prior military breaks with a lot of things. While the fact that they have superior tactics comes into play if I'm going to make a high risk arrest, I think, for the most part, I enjoy working with prior military. In my experience, when I arrest prior military for domestic violence/assault/drug charges they have always been cool about it and remorseful. I have been in way more fights with the average joe that hates law enforcement than I have with gang members or prior military. And, I've even had a prior military dude come help me out when some assholes tried to lynch a prisoner from my custody.

TL;DR
Making blanket statements about law enforcement is ridiculous. Every state has their own set of laws, and every department has their own policy. So making generalizations about cops gearing up to fight a war is ridiculous. In a department of 3000+ deputies, on average, they have about 40-50 SRT members with advanced equipment. The rest of us carry around a handgun and a vest.
