Teriya, your propaganda videos need better actors in them.

According to them, nobody does. And I have no idea, can I see there being a high possibility of corruption here? yes.

Reducing the term limits on board members from 14 years to 4 would be a good start to curb corruption. Prevent former board members from joining lobbyist groups that represent private banks would be another.

Once you drop the conspiracy theories you will find solutions that can work within the system we have. If more people focused on a fix other then destruction of, we might get somewhere as a society.

End Citizens United, take democracy back from corporate control, give people a reason to vote again. This is more important to me then Federal Reserve conspiracies, Bundy Ranch protesters, privatized roads or what ever Libertarian talking point of the month is.

It's sort of interesting(annoying might be a better word) debating with modern day Libertarians because I've felt myself forced to defend policies that I don't necessarily agree with entirely. The federal reserve, drones, NSA, foreign wars, bank bailouts, police brutality, and high taxes etcetc are all things the vast majority of people are dissatisfied with, so it's really easy to attack those subjects and get a lot of people behind what you're saying(See Ron Paul and others). The problem(As Rok nailed right on the head), is that Libertarians are either unwilling/unable to come up with resolutions or they offer ineffectual solutions that aren't rooted in reality.

Everything you and Rok said is a nice thought, the problem is that making those policy changes within the current system is a pipe dream. Be it because there is a shadowy element behind the scenes pulling the strings, or utter incompetence. We can bicker about why or why not government isnt managed well but ultimately if a system is broken its broken. In the Marine Corps there is a saying, "eat the apple, fuck the core." Libertarians do have ideas to fix most of this stuff, there are a ton of schools of thought within the party, having a wide range of views. Depends on who you talk to but libertarians do have anwsers to these problems too. The two party system is broken, i think we can all agree on that cant we? More ideas are always better than less. Problem is most still look at it through the lense of right versus left.

Funny you mention pipe dream because I took a nice rip of my pipe and am holding in the sweet vapors as I write this. Let me tell you a little story 'bout Democracy youngin'.

You see, what I just did with my herb pipe is illegal in my state. If I get caught I will be forced into drug court and forced to pay restitution to an invisible victim. The 2 years of probation will cost me over $4,000.

I'm a Drug War Veteran and I don't need a free thinking Libertarian to tell me that Government over reaches, I live it.

Although, sometime in the near future I'll no longer be seen as a criminal in the eyes of justice because the voting public will make it so by ending Prohibition 2-Electric Boogaloo.

This Democracy/Oligarchy system we have can be wicked awesome sometimes bronilla!

I won't have to pick up a gun, I won't have to protest, I won't have to write a letter to my congressmen, none of that shit. All I have to do is vote, simple as that. If I don't get the outcome I want then I take the loss and try to educate more people on my point of view.

And that G-Fist is one example of why I support voting.

How do those private roads work again?

It is in the end what ever the hell I want it to be. When I am through with it, it will blow a hole this wide into the own world's idea of itself. They are throwing bottles at your house; come on, lets go break their arms.

If people in Washington or Colorado started to go to jail because of the feds disagreeing with their weed law I'd hope that the Bundy militia would help them too... there's nothing wrong with fighting for state's rights

There is a private freeway in California, some company thought it would be a good idea to buy a couple lanes on an extremely busy freeway and sell people little pads that charge them whenever they use the service, also I've seen these private bridges and got a 40 dollar fee because I didn't have cash when I got to their toll booth. I sent them a letter saying that they needed to equip their booths with credit card readers and they sent me a letter saying sorry and that my fee and toll were waived, so that's pretty cool. The government would've said 'too bad,' and there would be people saying that there are thousands of other people paying their fines and that I shouldn't be treated specially and I'd say that the fine is racist because I'm half Mexican and then they'd be on my side

Teriya, you are talking about:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_highways_in_the_United_States

All of that I have no issue with because it exists in a Democracy with zoning laws. Your lesson to me was wasted.

Me and Fister are talking about:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free-market_roads

I take issue with free market roads because it's a stupid Libertarian idea and it has more holes in it then a Colombian goalie.

We just fundamentally believe differently, I've been called a nihilist before. I believe that the system is rigged and that it is done on purpose by those in power. Im a glass is half empty type and you are a glass is half full type.
