The Fed consists of both Government appointed nominees, private banks and contracted advisers. If your question is "Why is it privatized?" I would say it's not. You have control who fills these seats when you vote.

And i dont have to prove anything to anyone bud, i was nice enough to share a bit of personal info an you turn it into some fiasco about me proving libertarian ideas to you. Part of being libertarian is the idea that i dont know whats best for you. Maybe what is best is that you continue to believe the fed isnt privatized and that voting actually makes a difference..
