A normal passerby saw your Vermifistiya argument style and facts, and thought you came off as batshit crazy. He didnt win the argument for or against the event, but kinda did with judging sanity levels.

This story is infuriating.

Vermi/Gfist/Teriya as always come off sounding like paranoid, conspiracy theorists. Sonya/Rok/Anti win again.

You might also be a conspiracy theorist if...

You are capable of critical thinking.

You distrust mainstream media.

You like nature.

You think it’s a good idea to spend the Friday after Thanksgiving with your family rather than camping outside Best Buy to get a cheap plasma television made in China.

You think it’s a little strange that WTC building 7 came down at free fall speed on 9/11 yet it was never hit by a plane.

You think that drones in America might not be for Al Qaeda.

You would like to be able to get on a plane without having to engage in a mandatory radiation bath and digital strip search.

You have read a book in the past year.

You think you have the right to protest.

You think the War on Terror is a scam.

You think the War on Drugs is a scam.

You think the anger directed at America from the Middle East could possibly be related to our foreign policy rather than hating how amazingly free we are.

You think the Republicans and Democrats are exactly the same on the important issues affecting our country.

You think believing in The Constitution does not constitute a terrorist act.

You have heard of the Bill of Rights and can even name what some of them are.

You question whether the government loves you.

You think the right to bear arms is not for hunting, rather so citizens can fight back should the government become a bunch of tyrannical thugs.

You don’t own a television, and if you do, all you watch is RT, especially the Keiser Report and Capital Account.

You don’t think the NDAA is the name of Kesha’s latest single.

You think rich, powerful and connected people should be subject to the rule of law and go to jail if they commit crimes. Even if they are bankers and work at JP Morgan or Goldman Sachs.

You think corporations aren’t people.

You think Warren Buffet is a phony and a crony capitalist.

You don’t care that Warren Buffet likes cherry coke, hamburgers and ice cream. He’s still a bad guy.

You know that gold was made illegal by FDR in 1933 and confiscated from the American people. You know that gold bullion remained illegal for Americans to own until 1975.

You think politicians that push for war should be sent to fight on the front lines. If they are unable, their children should go.

You want your food to be labeled GMO so that you can make your own decisions on what you are consuming.

You grow your own food.

You buy raw milk.

You think food and energy should be included in inflation calculations.

You are aware that the Department of Homeland Security has purchased 1.2 billion rounds of ammo in the past year.

You question whether said ammo purchases are in anticipation of a Normandy beach style landing by Al Qaeda.

You think allowing a small group of unelected people (The Federal Reserve) to print unlimited amounts of money and distribute it as they please might not be a good idea.

If you answered yes to more than five of the above, you might be a conspiracy theorist. You also may be on the government’s terror watch list. Be very alarmed and report it to the authorities immediately should you discover you or your neighbors engage in such uncivilized thought.

I'm fairly skeptical of your conspiracy theorist check-list.

"You think it’s a little strange that WTC building 7 came down at free fall speed on 9/11 yet it was never hit by a plane."

is only two statements away from,

"You have read a book in the last year."

Not sure how you figure this. Most of what I posted is proveable fact Obs. Look at the links for yourself. It's not a conspiracy theory if it's true. The BLM's actions re: the turtles, both leveling the new fee because of them and later cutting off funding to keep them alive claiming being broke is a proveable fact. It actually happened.

It's also a proveable fact these raids occurred almost immediately after Senator Reid's (Senate Majority leader, aka Frank Underwood's senate equivalent) former senior adviser was sworn in as director of the BLM. Just a few days before this, it was announced that Senator Reid was working with Chinese energy giant ENN to build solar panels on the same land where the cattle currently graze. That article was linked in one of my other links, but can be found here:

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-04-03...price-drop.html

This is in addition to the oil and gas leases the BLM sold on these same lands last month.

These are things that actually happened Obs. Do your own investigation if you don't believe me, by all means. Or just waive your hands and say conspiracy and move on with your day if that's what easiest for you. Lazy Americans are lazy.

Vermi, you do realize that the solar plant is in Laughlin, Nevada and Bundy lives in Bunkerville. That is over 200 miles away, so I fail to see how that involves Bundy and the land in question.

Theory fail.

The turtle sanctuary lost funding. Do you really think the BLM would deny funding aka free money? More like their budget got cut and that was an action forced on them.

Theory fail.

The BLM sells and leases land to private businesses, that's the function. You don't need a conspiracy theory to know that, it's public record. The BLM in my area contracts land for nuclear testing as they do for solar. Is that part of this Bundy conspiracy?

Theory fail.

So the BLM, a government agency funded by tax payer dollars, uses that same money they are paid by tax payers (the ranchers) to coherence ranchers and land owners (private citizens, non-governmental people's) into selling private property to the federal government. Then turns around and sells said land at a premium to corporations which pay for these elected officials campaigns and re-elections through campaign donations because these officials make the laws that affect said corporations. So essentially they extort citizens for their land and then turn a profit by selling to special interests (that often have financial ties to the lawmaker/official making the rules, often giving said lawmaker a job when they retire from public office.) Paying no mind to the local peoples who actually live in that area and have to live with these decisions and don't have a legal recourse that's ever going to win. Seems legit, I have no idea what those people could be pissed about.

So tell me again what today's BLM has to do with the Northwest Ordinance act of 1787 and George Washington?

"Congress made a further attempt to address the concerns of slave owners over runaway slaves in 1787 by passing the Northwest Ordinance of 1787. The law appeared to outlaw slavery, which would have reduced the votes of slave states in Congress, but southern representatives were concerned with economic competition from potential slaveholders in the new territory, and the effects that would have on the prices of staple crops such as tobacco. They correctly predicted that slavery would be permitted south of the Ohio River under the Southwest Ordinance of 1790, and therefore did not view this as a threat to slavery. In terms of the actual law, it did not ban slavery in practice, and it continued almost until the start of the Civil War."

The above was strictly speaking on the function of the BLM. The Bundy situation boils down to a disagreement with the idea that the FED can own land in states (outside of what the Constitution allows), superseding state sovereignty and using that power for special interests of the FED and elected officials. The FED needs to test nukes somewhere and have military bases etc. and the Constitution allows for these types of facilities, that has nothing to do with their argument. They are saying this specific instance is a state issue and the government cant just claim state lands for their own (outside of what the Constitution allows.) They believe the lands are the people of Nevada's land and to be regulated by the state and local government. Bundy has said he has no problem paying fees to his state.
