Are these scientists taking into account the fact that we no longer spend trillions of dollars making war and everyone is helping humanity reach for the next step of evolution, or are they assuming that on our current trajectory life on earth will be unsustainable?
Fly is talking about the former.. I think you're trying to make it sound like Fly is saying that the earth can hold a googol of people when he's saying that if we refocused our energy from 'beating the Joneses' and wasting time with games like Darkfall there is no limit to what mankind can accomplish...
...and that doesn't mean that there is literally no limit, it's just a figure of speech.
