I don't disagree that Kimber turns out some pretty guns. But the one year warranty behind their pistols doesn't speak of a very solid commitment to durability and quality. Had a buddy with one about 8 years old and the hammer on it snapped off.
Springfield, Sig, Colt, and some others at least back theirs with lifetime.
