It might be because we've seen firsthand what service members have gone through to protect the piece of paper that outlines the rules for our country, and ensures our freedom, and can't bear the thought that the deaths and amputations of our friends have been in vain...

oh well. we'll chalk it up to 19th century ethos. totally.

The next time the government tries to round up Japanese Spies or 'Domestic Terrorists' will hopefully be the time when people realize that paper is flammable and the 7th amendment is just ink on the parchment along with the 22nd amendment and Article 2 Section 1 which protect our country from presidents-for-life.
