7 years and 3 deployments with USMC infantry later most guys i know, have pretty much the view points ive espoused here. Trusted with lives, millions of dollars worth of gear. Now my government wants to tell me i can't have a machinegun and grope me at the airport. And that i should have instant obedience to the commands of some cop who has less training than me (most likely) and shot 20,000 rounds less than i have (highly likely.) we (at least when i was around) treated the iraqi's by in large better than we get treated here. During the occupation phase that is.
