A guy in my office just sent out a memo, arguing that our office should start challenging the law that prohibits convicted felons from possessing firearms.
Remember that when you argue for this stuff, it can always come back to bite you in the ass. The language in that 9th Circuit case is actually great for arguing that you cannot have a blanket prohibition from felons possessing firearms.
