I cant stop watching it but have been a zombie addict for 30 years. I think the zombies should be a little more menacing and dangerous, and it should be a little less soap operaish. Either way, I will watch it till it is over and hope for spinoffs by Romero.
the walking dead was always more about how people react in the situation rather than about zombie survival. The author even said something along that line when they were making those walking dead adventure game. Even with all the hate, you guys know you're still gonna watch the show because it's one of the few watchable shows on tv.

I like the clip, but there is a lot more great footage. How bout the recent episode where the zombie just chomps down on the dude's throat while he's sleeping? The look of horror on the man's face, as he woke up with his fucking throat in the zombie's mouth is amazing. He just sits there trying to scream but unable to do so because his vocal chords are being eaten.
The first season in my friends and I got together to watch it on Sundays, liked it pretty well. We still use it as an excuse to get together and bbq, but mostly just make fun of the soap opera now and how badly Hollywood writers mess up on simple details. The wives gave up on it though and go have their hen party elsewhere.
