This is the bookend of the infamous Troll trilogy. Purists don't look at this piece of work as a true sequel, but more as a prequel mixed with Back to the Future time travel laws. I can't explain how this movie ties into Troll and Troll 2, but as you remember the trolls in Troll 2 turned out to be goblins, so who knows what goes on in the minds of these cinematic titans.
