All I know is that in 2011 there were 7 murders by rifle(which would include any AR style weapons) in Oklahoma. So out of the 219 murders in my state that year 7 of them may have been assault rifles. I am sure a few of those rifle deaths were bolt action rifles. Just about everyone I know has an AR style rifle...just 7 people were killed with them though. I really give no fucks about assault rifles as I am far far more likely to be stabbed. If you live in a state that has >200 deaths by rifles a year...move!
