Maybe this is just blind optimism, but I think since the amount of time between the release announcement and the actual release was so short, they had the game "ready" to release upon making the announcement. I also think that if there was going to be a lengthy delay (a month or more) that they already would've announced it. I fully expect problems downloading the game and launch day issues though. This is AV after all.
