HBO already ordered 2 more seasons and want them to start filming asap so there isn't a big gap between S2 and S3. So we are guaranteed the 3rd book at least! They are splitting a storm of swords into two seasons because it is so dense. Which is a good move. Also according to some extras who worked on the second season. They are filming some stuff that happens in Book 3 for the end of Book 2. This is probably for cliffhanger purposes. The fist of the first men scene most likely will be the ending scene for season 2.

I will agree that the books on tape are not as good as the real thing...

but

Books on tape work for someone that cant exactly have their face to the pages.. in the car, making dinner, going over homework w/ retarded offspring, etc.

Also the audio books do have decent voices & shit which sort of add to the story for those lacking the imagination to do it themselves

Flea, I started reading the books last summer when I was on vacation. First time I've read for pleasure in mmmmm 3 years or so.

I wasn't able to stop after vacation. I've had my nose in one non-stop in my free time since. Just finished book 5 a couple nights ago.
