this game is hard... Frustratingly hard. On "Hard" difficulty I died about 37 thousand times on a specific encounter(first nekkar cave and first encounter with Letho). Difficulty scales way down once your skills/gear progress though, I'm deep in the sword tree and I haven't died in a long time..

Ya this game has a gay ass hard initial gameplay then gets easier. No idea why its so dumb ass hard at the start when its actually made me hate the game.

I just beat it. Overall it's a pretty decent game. I was able to look past the initial difficulty/control issues/targeting problems/bugs. I was compelled to finish, and to me that's a good sign when it comes to single player RPGs... or I was just bored.... Has all the RPG elements that us nerds love: Hot chicks, blood, battles, WIZARDS AND DRAGONNNS.

I clocked in 20 hours of game play when I finished, which isn't bad, as it also has fairly good replay value. There are dozens of different decisions to make throughout the game that affect the outcome. 10-12 of those hours came from dialog, inventory management, buying and selling, crafting, meditating to drink potions, meditating to create potions, dying over and over to letho 1st encounter. Some of the lapses in action were so large I had to remind myself how to play the fucking game. "Oh look, I have to actually do things now."

I'd recommend it though, 7.89423 out of 10.
