Seriously just devil's advocating (because I don't care either way on this issue)...
I would like to know where they got the initial sample from bin Laden for DNA comparison. Sure they are 100 percent certain the sample they took from the dead guy belonged to the dead guy... but what did they do... swab an envelope on which his name was the return addressee for the comparison?
I don't see how a kill shot of bin Laden would be worse than the ones they released of the others killed in the compound.
I have to be honest... I find the story about them dumping the body at sea pretty sketchy. I'm not saying the only alternative is they made the whole thing up... perhaps they have the body and just do not want to release it/info about having his body.
Also, we KILLED the guy. It's like "Hi, I blew your master's brains out... but I buried him the way he would have liked to be buried. So we are cool, yea?" How does burying him right really save us from upsetting people when we are announcing we killed him?
I feel like the logic holes are kinda obvious in this one.
