Nice! Crappie is pretty much the only thing I fish for because it is the only fish around here I really like. There are a few spots here that are really badass for them...pain in the ass to hike to though, but definitely worth it.

I mainly go for Catfish myself, catch and release. I love the fight. I am getting rid of my fishing trolly though and downgrading to something smaller with no payment.

My uncles, cousins and everyone else it seems loves to go for Crappie and Bass and with Walleye getting more popular up here, I know I have a market for them.

Truman Lake: 55,600 acres
Ozark Lake: 54,000 acres

With 1,150 miles of shoreline on Ozark lake alone, it means that there are a shitload of bait shops surrounding the area, not counting the smaller lakes. Almost every lake has Bass and Crappie in it and many of the smaller lakes are starting to stock Walleye to make as a permanent fish in their hatcheries. Just reading the Wiki on Oark, 70,000 lake side homes around Ozark, many vacation homes, that is a possible 70,000 locals to buy my shit laugh

Good place for a shop. I am located on Lake Texoma, but I do most my fishing north of here. If you like fighting with catfish you should just go noodling =)

Fishing is fucking awesome. Goes great with camping. Get up super early, pack the cooler with beers, get out there stream fish, such a blast. Love catching and cooking my own trout

Use to do that in AR in the White River. It's all fine when you're drunk, but when you wake up the next day; you realize just how much pressure they put on your finger.

@EE You should show the pic of when you got the truck stuck. lol.

It will take me a bit. I am about to drop around $400 on some material, Wires, molds, skirts, thread, blades and paint to pump out approx 8 different lures. If I can find the right mold, I might be able to get another couple ready to go.

I am almost finished melting all the lead into ingots, I have weighed everything, I have 165 lbs of lead sitting here currently along with another 150-200 sitting at a shop waiting for me to pick it up. I really need a second melter to really get things moving, 20 minutes to melt 10 pounds and 30 seconds to pour the ingots isnt working out to be the fast way of doing things. It would take me nearly 10 hours to melt down 200 pounds of lead.
