I ordered PC.... i hate fps on console.

after playing for a bit, i think they made the chopper wayyy easier. i just tried flying the chopper for kicks with the keyboard, and it was so much easier... they must have tweaked it somehow so its noob friendly. although i think the damage from the tank needs to have more splash radius. i shot some guy probably 2 ft from where he was standing, and i only slightly damaged him....

yeah anyone can fly the chopper now, but it feels like it has better controls too. Like you can look all the way at the ground while aiming and continue to fly forward\up, rather than nose bombing. The rotor tilt works pretty well.

Im loving this game right now, im really digging the sniper. I dont think they had this in BF2, but having to aim above the target for far distances adds a whole new element... not to mention having to trail ahead of your target when they are running somewhere. but jesus christ, why is the sniper scope so hard to see through? or maybe thats the nerf snipers get... who knows.

The UAV is kinda cool but useless, but for some reason, even if I have flight controls not inverted, it still inverts when I fly it, and it ends up being super hard to control. Probably just a bug they need to fix. Shooting with the UAV is damn near impossible. Im sure they were trying to make sure it wasnt overpowered, but I cant kill anything thats not stationary....

Also, they took out prone. why did they do that? Im sure its to give the snipers an advantage, but it kinda sucks when Im playing a different class and I crouch behind something, but the tip of my head is showing and I get picked off. although it does force me to constantly be on the move instead of camp.

Also, the destroyable environments are nice. I unlocked the mortar specialty ( you get to basically call in an air strike wherever you want - so long as you can see it) and bomb the fuck out of the trees to get a clear Line of sight. I got like 4 kills at once because of that one spot on the hill made out of rock that terrorist snipers love to hang out on.

lol yeah I'm loving it too.. the no prone thing was probably a fix to the lame "oh I'm getting shot insta prone" bs that happend in the original.. made for really lame close range combat.

and I'm not sure whats going on with the heli.. I looked at the controls and it looks right but no matter what all it does is a backflip lol..

the destroyable enviroment is amazing.. its the best one I've ever seen love how realistic it is thats one thing that they really did right in this game.

I'm really wanting to see the new game modes / maps.. and they need to start fixing some of the crash bugs when vehicles explode ffs.

soooooooooooooooooo true...but all in all that is a good thing...once i realized i couldnt do it, it made me realized how much i depending on fish flopping to play an FPS...

Overall, this is not a bad start at all for a beta. There are a few things they do need to fix (e.g. physics of nades and rockets - i think i can run faster, the relationship of bullet damage with certain guns, and some SMALLLLLLLL tweaking of the cone of fire), but overall they did a pretty darn good job....my only major whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa is the HMG with a medic kit...for some damn reason DICE can never get kit load outs right....

Yeah dude, I just started playing last night and I was like WHY THE FUCK DO I HAVE TO USE A PKM WITH A GODDAMN MEDIC KIT?!? I thought I was doing something wrong and selected the wrong weapon, kept clicking on shit to try to change it out.

sticky keys = anyone getting them? while youre playing, your character seems to keep moving in the direction that you pushed earlier and wont stop. the only way to stop it is to click in the direction youre going.

some in-game ppl were saying its due to using steam to play the game, but i dont know how to start this game without steam... ?
