I haven't seen a big change between this and BF2. Now everything is destructible which is a big plus. Better graphics... the units swear, and they use phrases like, "epic fail." Maybe it's only because I've played one demo map for 8 hours, but I liked BF2 much better. I wouldn't recommend getting this for Xbox at least, i've had the thing freeze up on me like 5 times. Controls actually aren't that bad on the xbox though. this game is a significant upgrade over BF2...everything about it is better i was a fan of the graphics and the flow of BF2, but the awful combat system and bugged out cone of fire and prone spam made it unplayable

Right...now whoever plays the most gets the best upgrades? Sounds fair... Shit, can't even use an alternate weapon on the vehicles until you play the crap out of them. I haven't seen any fish hopping which is a plus... but then again I probably used it more than anyone. I take that back about not getting it for xbox 360, my frame rates are horrible even on low on pc. The game is fun, just don't think it is that much better than BF2!

I like it much much better than BF2. Maybe it's just me, but the physics on the bullets feels so damn good. On normal mode you can see the tracers and bullets fall over distance like rl. I was playing on a hardcore server and its like night and day too. Much much more awesome. No reticle\crosshair. Bullets do realistic damage (all the newbie guns are now legit), FF is on, and no minimap\UI. It's hard to find a hardcore server when this stupid server browser list doesn't sort for me (but does for others, wtf). They need to fix some major bugs with interface and shit, but I love the bullet physics.

those hardcore servers are cool, thats what i play on COD MW servers, but the tracer darts and some guns cant even aim down iron sights... im like wtf? do you know how the tracer darts work? do i just fire one and then my carl gustav at it?
wish this game came with some instructions or something.
also, they need to enable some punishments for TKing. every sever i played always has some asshat who Tk's and just gets away with it... or some servers with bastards who have names like ALOLOLOLOLOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOLOLFU and they just spam, ruining the game.
nothing a quick patch cant fix though.

To sort the master server list you have to refresh the list then close the tab... open it back up and refresh it again.
The hardcore servers are good.. but the FF gets rediculous because people are too noob to handle it.
The biggest fix I think they need is to make it so that C4 can't blow up the fucking bomb sites.. pretty dumb.. kinda defeats the purpose of the game mode.
I could be wrong but it seems like the tracer darts even help with mortor strike?

yeah that C4 on bombsites is lame. everytime i play, im usually the one taking out 6 of the 8 bombsites. i think they need to tweak the game so that it takes maybe 12 or even 18 C4 to blow up the bomb. its ridiculous when im assault and just re-supply myself with more C4 and just run around blowing crap up. although, it is fun to see people bitching and moaning about it...
regarding the tracer dart ( pulled from EA forums):
1). Shoot the vehicle with the Tracing Dart
2). Use the Engineer class and aim at the read square and wait until it shows the number of meters
3). Aim RELATIVELY close to it; try not to have walls/crap in the way.
4). Fire.
so basically, i dont think it works for the mortar, unless you get a red square with the distance reading. then agian, the whole mortar speciality revolves around LOS, so I cant see how much more accurate it can really be. I dont ever use the regular rocket launcher anymore since i unlocked the carl gustav, but i do know that i get the distance reading on the gustav. it doest feel like its any more accurate than before though....

That fucking server browser is such a piece of shit it's unbelievable. I just use the glitchy friend system and join whatever game the rest of guys are on. I'm getting a little bored with it though since it's only the one map. If you get on the wrong team you can forget about it, it's just a shitty bottleneck and everyone on the losing team goes sniper and I want to stab them all in the eye.

Keep in mind the current beta build is like 6 months old...i have sources who are testing the near gold version who say it is significantly different and a lot of the complaints are fixed and it is a great game
