Hope this game turns out good! The hype is that it will be the next best Battlefield game in the series. What convinced me to buy it was this: http://blogs.battlefield.ea.com/battlefi...pc-players.aspxSteam has preorders up. Beta starts in 4-5 days and lasts until close to release in about 30 days. Preorder includes some special weapons and shit.

looks good I'll probably pick that up too.. between that and AVP finally some good games coming out.. but I'm getting them for the xbox lawl.

Confirmed, this is the next best battlefield game in the series imho. I think its the ambient sounds that they really nailed that makes it feel so good. Not sure exactly, but it feels like a battlefield should. Except 1 or 2 minuses, but the gameplay is very well done.

the graphics are extreamly smooth for as good as they are..
having to shoot people so many times with some of the starter weapons is kinda bs though I mean when you pump 6 shots into someone and your clip only holds 20 thats bs.

I haven't pre-ordered yet, so I haven't seen any beta play. If that part does suck, like you pointed out, it's pretty damn temporary as I'm sure we'll be out of the starting weapons pretty quickly.
I loved the helicopter play aspects of the previous BF's, so I can't wait to get on that hellfire again.

its pretty safe to say this game is going to be far better then battlefield 2 aside from the slight damage issue Ty mentioned everything about the game is amazing.

i just pre-ordered... does this mean i have to buy another controller to fly the choppers? the shit was impossible to do on a keyboard.
its bringing back memories of Judas yelling and bitching about my chopper skills...lol....

its bringing back memories of Judas yelling and bitching about my chopper skills...lol.... Yeah I dunno yet.. I was probably one of the best heli pilots in BF2 (used keyboard/mouse) and I tried to fly the one in this game (just once) and did an instant backflip/crash.. was a little disapointed with the speed and controls of the new attack heli. I'll play more tonight and see if I can get the hang of it.. saw a few people doing a decent job on it last night but most seemed to crash pretty frequently.

I didn't realize controls were inverted for the helicopter but once i changed that shit I wrecked fools this morning.
