What made that game fun for me was having an abundant supply of noobs to grief. When I played player run server's there where not enough noobs to grief. We where able to grief some of the vets with our elite fishing tactics but once the population caught on the game became boring with out noobs to fuck with.
Some of us do go back to those servers from time to time between games but most of those players are playing Darkfall full time. Darkfall might not be the best MMO ever but it is the best of the current releases if you want to play a full loot, FFA PVP game.
