Yeah, in your case this would definitely be true since you would be re-making a new character on a monthly basis after each rage delete.

Damn, doesn't it take like hours to reinstall UO? with all of the patching and all... then you'd need to reinstall Razor, re-do all of your in-game macros/set keys... and then you'd finally be ready to play. But then you only lasted 4 minutes?

lol no carrot top is a freak of nature

and yes Dylan I got your post it note on my monitor, why'd they let you in the building? you got a van now sir

and to Desyr, I know everyone in this thread is still living in 1998, but there's this new thing called broadband where you can download a 13 year old game in about 5 minutes, and with my space age 2010 super computer, it installs in even less time

Too bad in this superduper 2010 era there's still no game that comes close to that ancient powerhour game. I will admit that I don't play it, but to this date there's nothing that comes 1/10th close to what it gave.

I just remember the slow-ass patcher that UO had. The game would install a really old version and then the patcher would patch you to the current version... it would update one patch at a time SLOW AS SHIT until it's current.

you dont even patch it at all. You d/l the game, install it then d/l razor install it. Open razor input the server info and you're done, too easy.

if you goto www.uosecondage.com, visit the download sections. You should be able to download an installer that includes a pre-patched client paired with razor and uo-automap.

otherwise you will have to patch the client yourself to 5.0.8.3

i dont believe you can connect to this server with a client older then 5.0.1j, because most cheat proggies such as adrenalin run on the older clients.

The link on the main portion of the web site http://www.uosecondage.com is essentially "plug in play" since after installing Ultima Online it will already be patched up with what is required and Razor is also included in the package. You would have to make macros but that is obvious in any game situation unless you backed up your hotkey data. I had a PC set up with it in about 5 minutes.

It's quick and easy.
