Anyone use one of these new "N" wireless adapters?

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessnnetadapter/

The reviews are great saying strength is strong and lag very minimial. I know...."Go wired". But it is not always a option. I have a "Dlink 4500 gaming lounge" N router so I may give this a try.

No difference than G. I highly doubt your internet connection is going past the speed of G (11mbp-54mbps depending on range).

The bandwidth of the N wireless signal doesn't help with gaming with you're not even using the maximum bandwidth of Wireless G.

What matters most is the ms delay between sending and receiving information to the router. Gaming routers use stronger signals to achieve a less than 10ms delay, but they are expensive. Using a wire is the only cheap effective way to get less than <1ms delay to the router.

Right....I don't question any of this. I do have a "gaming N router" with business class broadband. But has anyone used this yet? I am wondering if the connection speed to the router will be sufficient for say MW2 or Madden xbox live? Or if it will be just too laggy to play.

Running a wire is not a good option for me so I am trying to figure out if I should even bother trying wireless.

The only games that matter would be the FPS games. Most other online games made for Xbox are not very ping specific. Since Microsoft hosts everything or places the game starter at host, it doesn't really make a difference what you are using to connect to the internet. Doubt you will notice a difference. Any lag you get will most likely be their horrible matchmaking service connecting you to a dude in israel.
