Well ever since mentioning in an another thread here of an old school Ultima Online shard that actually aims to replicate the t2a time period unlike every other shard in the past my message box has been buzzing to my surprise. This was the last place that I would have expected anyone to be interested in the shard. I figured it would be best just to place it in general incase someone else may be interested. Please spare us all the very unoriginal "UO IS OLD AND SUCKS" phrase. Again, this is only to those that may be interested since this was the last place that I expected anyone to be interested.

The shard is esentially a time capsule stuck in time based around the mid-late '99 time frame with a cutoff date of November '99. The only corrections made to the shard's game mechanics is anything that is deemed inaccurate to the era. For this to happen it takes extensive research to prove that something is accurate/inaccurate.

There are an average of 550-600 clients online.

Btw those clients online are dual boxers... I talked with the admins and they said with about 400 clients online they barely broke 100 different people. So dont take the client numbers as ANY accurate representation of how many play.

What are my choices? Wow? Darkfail? Sorry, but it just doesn't seem very appearling to obtain the next t50 piece of shiney material on the next big hit class based mmo. Ulimta Online is still hands down the best mmo to ever exist. We all already know this is a simple fact. There is no reason for me to play anything else right now.

Tron is a part of the wonderful family of +- guild that claims to have invented "sync dump pvp" on Ultima Online. Some of there common "famous" members are Choppa X, Pisces Icariot, Grey, Jabba, and now Spanky. The only problem is that they were run off by a guild called mYm on UOSA because they couldn't hack it. mYm is mainly a combination of a bunch of Euro's from DFI:UOR and a few U.S players that were friends with most of them on there like Chad merging into one big guild.

Honestly, Tron isn't a very good pvp'er at all on UOSA compared to his other guild members that are decent. He has turned me down numerous times when I request a duel with him. Roger has beat the kid to a bloody pulp multiple times even though I haven't ever had the plessure myself. He is a weirdo kid that places pictures of himself on IRC all oiled up that looks similar to http://www.popstarsplus.com/images/HulkHoganPicture.jpg but try picturing a more emo skinny version of the picture with a few razors to slice and dice.

UO has become a lot more "scripted" due to Razor like you said above in your post sadly. However, it's not all that bad and the majority of it still is manual besides a few macros here and there. Derrick is literally one of the best admins of any shard out there that I have ever played. He is also the host/owner of JoinUO.com where they are creating their own "version" of Razor as a pet project. The great thing about this project will be the ability to control the program server side unlike the strict limitations with Razor that can be controlled.

We had a pretty decent group growing a little while back. There was Roger, Elmo The Timid, Creager, Darkstar, Shatterstar, DeAngelo, Kan Ta, and a few other old timers. Murd you might want to give it a try and log on sometime with us old friend. I know you have heard a million times now that some <insert shard here> is a true old school pre:uor shard. UO Second Age is the real deal and they strive for complete accuracy unlike IPY, DFI, and Divinity that never was even close to be accurate. Hell, they even use the old school ASCII text if that tells you anything about how small of a detail they go for towards their goal of accuracy.
