That's the thing. There is no win. This thread shows a giant failure in the media to use proper journalism and deliver accurate fact based reports.
Now because a scientist used the word "trick" when talking about inputing information into a computer program. We have people who seriously think that means Global Warming has been completely debunked.
It's like a client of mine coming across my service call notes, in which I use the word trick in references to registry tweaks or bug fixes, and then claiming I put a virus on their computer because of that word.
Nobody in the media has mentioned that if you took all of those IPCC scientists data and removed it completely. It wouldn't change any factual evidence we currenlty have for global warming and in NASA GISS GCM MODEL II, AOM, or MODEL E.
