CoD is totally a console game. And I agree, FPS genre going in that direction. I think a lot of that has to do with the equalization of performance - which is really nice; the playing field is always totally leveled.
Games like CoD are way more fun with a group of a friends on a console than a PC, anyway. At least for me, a lot of my friends always have a console but not a constantly upgraded PC, also there is the ability to shoot the shit in the living room when gamers are over and want to get bloody over some beers and right of rotation of the sticks. Trying that around a desk and monitor is more depressing than cool.
