It's illegal for one. If I want to talk shit about my government over the phone I should be able to without fear of being recorded by a keyword catcher. First amendment. The reason I can go on stage and say "Obama is a communist and should be assassinated" without fear of arrest is because of the first amendment. Freedom of political expression. So why shouldn't I be able to say that on the phone without being logged? Are they logging everytime somebody says "Praise Allah"? "Praise Jesus"?
