ya its scripted, the beginning even says the people are presented with the the problems by the producers.
but hell i had never heard of the gasifier until then. Nor did i know about sand and charcoal created that solid of a filtration device. Aside from the cheesy marauders and the emo fits they have, the shit they make is pretty neat. I missed the last episode cause of work but i hope they do another one. Hoping to get some free time and try out the gasifier.
