Started a thread on it in General, didn't get much love, but yeah I have been watching it. One thing I was thinking about last night was this. Could you imagine having to live under these circumstances where everything you do everyday is a struggle of some sort? Fuck man the conveniences we have now we so take advantage of. I mean honestly if you had to live life like that, it would be so hard and take so much effort, I can see a lot of people just giving up eventually. It's a scary and very real scenario, and it scares the shit out of me thinking about life like that. With nothing, and you have to make everything, energy source, water source, food source, trippy show though, and very interesting. I can do without the short commentaries they throw in though, they're usually so cheesy.

i finally saw it for the 1st time. It was ok, that one guys with the phd is like the dude from mythbusters and the handyman all he does is talk shit and dosnt do crap. I like the guy yelling i like your bike. If that dude on the bike would of went after him he would of lost his manhood and ran.

I mean do you really need electricity. All you need is food, water, proper clothing and shelter. These people are worried about toilet paper and soap. But i understand the concept of trying to rebuild society and all, and not living like cavemen.

ya i forgot you mentioned it torak. its deff crazy and to be honest it seems like they really immersed themselves in the world. pretty neat how they did the water filter and the attempt to make gas with wood, i'd like to give that a try sometime.

and as far as the soap and toilet paper goes and electricity. imo if i were in this postion i wouldn't focus on those things at first, but after a while i would. i think at some point you gotta make that change from just survival and getting by to rebuilding a life, a livable somewhat enjoyable life.

The Handyman talks shit, but he talks the truth, he's actually probably the most valuable person there. What do you mean, do you need electricity? Do you need electricity right now? LOL Garalan. The Handyman is probably the most logical guy in that whole group, probably their most valuable too. He doesn't win points for tact, but he has more to offer than most of those pieces of shit who complain and do stupid shit without thinking about the consequences. Then again you've only seen 1 episode, your view will most likely change.

last night was the first episode i saw. But he was right when he was talking about these guys wasting electricity for making shoes when they got so many other things to do. I guess everyone has different priorities.

On a side note anyone watch whale wars? I hardly ever do and saw it was pretty good.

The Mythbusters crew are comming to my work tomorrow, apparently they have a myth to bust about land speed racing in some fashion or another and want to talk with us.
