A console game with a huge HDTV and a surround sound system provides a better single player experience, sure.

On that note whats stoping you from hooking your computer up to your TV?
Personally I'd rather play CoD on my 24" monitor and watch football on my 57" TV at the same time

I have a friend who plays Xbox, and he believes he is better with a game pad in FPS than I am with a mouse/keyboard on a PC. I can't wait for the day they match PC gamers with Xbox gamers online, so I can make a huge bet with my buddy and empty his wallet out. If and when this does happen, there will be no contest on which I/O device is better suited for FPS. Strafe in cirlces.com hand over the money honey!

True, but it's not as mainstream as xbox live. I've got many friends who play games but only on consoles. If I were to do a survey at EA, I know that the vast majority of players would be playing it on the 360.

I'd love to see some compatibility though. I hope PC and console players can play together at some point in the future. I can't wait until the PC teams just utterly destroy the console teams = P
consoles are good for fighter games, sports and racing games...

- I own a PC, PS3, 360, and Wii so I a not being a fanboy. I'm just telling you the reasons why I will be picking it up on 360 and why most of my friends will be playing the 360 version.
There are certain games FPS games that were built for the console and some that were built for the PC. This is decided by which is the lead SKU. The lead SKU will get the top programmers and the the most attention. The rest of the SKUs will be ported and are often outsourced to other companies to complete. This makes a huge difference and is a contributes to my decision.
Console: Halo, Gears, CoD4, CoD5, CoD 6
PC: Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2, and any Valve game.
