Tyrantor- I understand your zeal, but damn man, sometimes it's ok to step away from the keyboard.
However, I'm seriously wondering what will happen when another game comes along that more than a few Lords want to play. What if Mortal Online (don't flame me bro, it's just a hypothetical example; could be any new game) ends up delivering a lot of what DF failed to deliver?
I'm also wondering if there will ever be any MMOs from here on out that people will keep playing past max character progression. 2-3 months seems to be the MMO-lifespan for most players of new games in the last few years, so I'm wondering why people on both sides of this are so fired up.
LoD has come as close to "winning" DF as anyone can; it'd be a shame if that victory came at the cost of some long-time Lords who didn't care for the game.
