Sorry simon but you're the one missing the "concept" because what you're talking about is the reality.. the concept was supose to be something different. I'm still not convinced you've accepted DF because you truely enjoy it or because it is "the offical" game.
Anyhow I'm not picking on obi because of what DF is to the guild.. hes the voice of LoD when it comes to DF.. he spews bullshit about the game that echos that of the AV devs.. and I bet its all just smoke and mirros I know obi's not stupid.. he just can't go back on all the bullshit hes said over the last 6-8 months about what a great game it is.

thats my stance, sorry you dont want to believe it, the game isn't going to die, its only going to get better, they got guild v guild and alliance v alliance down great. hell i spent half the day yesterday pvping not 5 minutes from our city. me and skull krusher. no zerg, and we had a blast, i even saw you in the thread were the guy raged and rezzed a thread after he got fucked up by us :P anyways man i found your song, enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cjv7hEAytU

Judging a game based on the starter noob content is dumb. We are starting to see more developed characters, and pvp is much more interesting and complex than MM spam.

Did you need purples in WoW before you could tell the game was retarded?
On top of that it doesn't take much to be 'more interesting' or 'complex' than MM spam. Not that I would agree with anything regarding pvp in DF to being 'complex'.
