i quoted myself because you obviously skipped over that part, seeing as you wrote "your telling me theres no guard towers!"

i mean maybe you should grab hooked on phonics if you are having trouble reading.

team aspects... such as creating battle lines? incorporating a front line of melee, knowing when to charge them in while archers and mages know which spells to use at this point? using terrain to your advantage and when to fall back. How about using your team to bottle neck the enemy? working which dots to throw out along with other utility spells such as blindness.

using flanking and ambushes... knowing who to delegate to lock down certain areas, especially when you get into a city.

creating several focus fire targets? having groups use different elementals based on their situation.. such as those who went air dont have a strong nuke but one that goes thru parry, so effective when someone turtles up but not in full engagement.

using water mages to focus a group with delayed shot... knowing who to buff and when, such as if we run into quite a few fire mages to put a buff on fire dmg on the front line.

then we can go into the new patch, where power attacks actually debuff/dot people. greatclubs are a good example. you want them on the front line as they do a melee debuff when they land.

knowing how and when to use burden, and who uses it. being able to call them out fast if a mage is just straight wrecking on us.

going into a city because full on team work especially with guard towers. with larger numbers you need to know where to lock down a spot that not only covers you and your group but doesnt put all your eggs in one basket.

again working with heals, knowing who to focus heal and when to pull back a front line to send in a fresh one.

can i go on? or are you still trying to get that briefcase and bring it back to "blue base"

and unlike many of these other "skilled" games you only get one chance to do things right in this game, otherwise your teleported 30+ minutes away.
