Yeah alot has changed and it looks like for the worse.. auto zap towers and walls that can be rebuilt instantly.. some really great features.
As far as archery goes.. I guess I worded it wrong.. archery was the ONLY thing combat related that AV did best imo..
TF2 a noobs wet dream? I'm not sure what makes it noob unless you're just unimpressed with the cartoonish graphics.. Alot of LoD played TF2.. we had our own dedicated server and probably would have done Cal league play had CoD4 not released near the same time.
P.S. LoD still has members that play TF2 I guess their just noobs too huh? Oh and by the way.. TF2 has more team play aspects than DF ever will maybe thats what you thinks so noob about it?
yano i had a talk with dhal once about tf2, i couldnt understand why lod was playing it. as far as fps games go it was one of the games that took very little skill to go far, especially when aiming came into play.
but after talking i came to realize that most of lod are mmo players, not hardcore fps players. and it makes sense, im not shitting on anyone that plays it, it was fun for a while, but other games out there take much more skill.
now i understand you played beta, and gave up after that, and i remember in beta, the game was on a whole nother level. now magic has come into effect big time, only top guilds are going around right now owning with them, not because its an i win button but this is where teamwork really, really comes into play. moreso than before when it was melee/archery.
i see you bring up cal, well i dont see how that argument means anything when anyone and their mother can sign up for cal. its not like they pick the best players in the game.
you seem to rate darkfall on your beta expierence and what you read on the forums ( yes i see quite a bit of post from you on there) and you truely have no idea whats going on in the game. you spit shit out like "guard towers" and "walls that can be rebuilt in sieges".
like wtf does that have to do with shit? your telling me after hundreds of thousands of resources and gold on a city you should be allowed a tower that auto zaps people for a whopping 5 dmg every 2-3 seconds? or that walls shouldnt be rebuilt in a siege? i cant remember to well but didnt this happen irl with an army way back when? either way its no big deal.
the shit you complain about the game are the same things random noobs shit out. all day i see you tab between this forum and the darkfall forum talking shit that really has no bearing on the game, everything you point out i rarely experience and some of it i dont even see.
and the bottom line is tf2 will never be on the same level as darkfall with teamplay. darkfall is way advanced, but im sure someone who played back when having a mount was as good as a warhulk knows all about that.
