Ty your missing the whole concept of Darkfall, The game is designed so that you have to grind for about six months by the time your charcter is done the new content will be out. It was a ploy to release the game in a beta state.........
You also should not focus soley on Obi, It was all of the lords that voted to make Darkfall an offical game.
I would only play an MMO with a ruleset that darkfall has (I even thought shadowbane should have had full loot). I would rather play something than nothing and there are good times in darkfall along with some stupid game mechanics that make's me want to kick the development team in the nuts.
Bottomline is will continue to play darkfall untill an MMO comes out that has the same rule set but is better, shit that might be mortal online, have to wait and see.
TF2 is a bad ass game and it is on the same skill level as CS source or COD.
