I think it has suddenly become apparent how serious you take your video games.

Your just now getting that I have standards? I thought you understood that about me when you try to justify my reasoning as 'you just expected too much' so that you could convince yourself that you weren't accepting too little.

But here we are.. you're betting on the success of a game thats been so widley pushed as a 'niche' game and a development team that prides itself on saying 'its not for everyone'. It better be one hell of a shiny box.. maybe the marketing team will pick up where AV left off and promise a $100 bill on the inside of every box purchased.. then they can get fucked when they buy it and play it in true AV fashion.

Games done.

You know a game is dead when Godsmak doesn't want to play a Full loot, MMORPG that has FPS elements.

I played Neocron for probably totaling a year, it was one of the original FPS-MMMORPGS out, had full loot, customization of char (lol DF doesn't even come close) that rivaled SB, only it had a futuristic setting. Truly an amazing, innovative game that took about a year to truly die, even though people still barely play presently (I played for a few days like 4 months ago), it is sadly still a much better game than DF, even the GFX are extremely close...

Sad sad times. But hey if you enjoy DF then, hey thats cool, to each his own. I think Ty is on a crusade though, did you guys boot him from LoD or did you just leave Ty?

Its not a crusade but I enjoy watching fanboys try to defend the game.. can't wait for reality to sink in for some of these guys...

P.S. If anyones interested I just designed a UMS game for Starcraft its called DF.

If you want to play let me know here is some details about the game.

You load the game with a few friends and you have the option to pick between a few different units.

1) Zealot (actually named 'the fanboy)
2) Ghost (The Macroer)
3) Marine (Normal Guy)

Depending on which guy you choose the game then has different WIN conditions.

For the Zealot you will be faced to fight 'Firebats' or what the Zealots like to call "trolls, raging nerds and of course the cliche Carebears". Basically what happens is you keep getting swarmed by these pesky firebats until eventually your Zealot dies, but you will be given the option: Do you wish to continue to defend the Honor of DF. If you choose Yes you will respawn and can continue your campain forever.

The Ghost: You spawn into the world in a pre made city.. and are given the choice to macro your weapon or your running skills. This will require you to leave your computer running 24/7 but when you get back the next day you should see some major changes in your character he will be .01 better in which ever skill you choose!

The Marine: If you choose this option you are a wise soldier and will be given two options, one of which will be to quit playing and the other will be to continue. If you decide to quit playing the game will display a 'You've WON DF" message and you can then return to your life in reality OR if you choose to continue to play your marine is then morphed into a Zealot and you are forced to fight against the evil firebats!

Suprisingly.. its actually more fun than Darkfall.

I don't know why it makes us fanbois, just because we like a free for all pvp/loot game. Some of us really like a game we can kill whoever we want, and grief everyone. To all their own, but actually liking the game like most of us, and not just playing because we feel the need to.

Now I could see us being fanbois if we were raving about an NCSoft game, just because LB produced it.

So just out of curiosity hows the game going? Lots of PvP or lots of Boredom? Having to fight eachother in town because theres nothing else to do?

Obs how come you haven't been hyping it up recently? I mean you haven't even tried to bait me whats the deal? Are you too busy macroing?
