The grind will be much essier on NA release. The soft cap will finally be introduced, hence the reason transfers will be feasile. I want to say new NA players upon the NA release will be able to come close to par with a developed character in a month or so.

As for the promotional ads and such, I'm sure we'll see quite a few when the realese date is set in stone and not tentative. Surely they will have a few investors, go corporate, and then advertising will be everywhere.

To add to everything, anything that has been on the suck list, and presented to AV (aside from carebear complaints), usually get fixed, changed, or whatever to benefit the game.

While the mainland might not be a hot spot for pvp for some guilds, I haven't had an issue finding a red or orange wherever I go on the mainland. So I really have no idea what's up with that.

You roll with the same group of LoDs that always come mainland? They're always fucking with Marithain or Dag. I always rush over there to fight some LoDs since I havent fought any of you since BAJA for christ sakes, but the group always leaves before I get there.

Phase two was 2nd round of invites. Phase 3 was when guilds were given 20 invites, and it was more of stress test, This was the time they unlocked a lot of things like clans, clan cities, overhead swing, spells, weapons, more skills, etc. Maybe you did play longer, but I don't remember seeing you at all. Then again I vaguely remeber seeing you in screenshots from Obs where you were in group.

Honestly you must not have pvped durring beta then because I led raid groups every single night until the very last week of "free beta".

No he would kill you too. Our worst empire members would destroy either of you. The "i don't play the game, but continue to act hard" crew hasn't been doing so well. I'll put my money on somebody who actually plays the game.

If thats the case I hope your sponsoring him into the guild then because he sounds like a badass.. maybe hes the one who pked me looted my gear and made me quit DF forever.

For you to actually believe anything AV says at this point is astonishing to me.

Yeah, I have no idea how I missed you then. I was constantly with pk and farming groups whenever the server were up. Constantly farming resources for our keep with EE, and watching burnin's kill count go over STL's yearly murder rate.

I agree to a point, but I don't see how else AV can keep from pissing off an entire server when the transfers come up, ans not give people some sort of chance.

Normally I would take what AV says with a grain of salt, but when it comes to things that reduce PvE and increase the amount of time people PvP, I listen. They reduced the skill gain ratio for just not too long ago substantially, I don't see why they wouldn't do it again, especially if they want to cut down the number of macroers. They understand 1-50 in some skills/spells are just fucking ridiculous.

actually doing an 8x8 or #vs# arranged fight has been something we have done in almost every online mmo dating back to UO, long before i even joined lod. actually, we had one vs lod and they lost

really though man this isnt what the problem is. what really is the problem?

Theres a difference between doing an arranged 8vs8 to flex e-peen and to find some decent pvp on a server that has none...

I mean the mercs are probably tired of running around for hours killing naked people, waiting for people to leave their cities or out right getting zerged so they're being forced into "arranged" duels to try and enjoy the style of game play that they seem to like which must be GvG not ZvZ.

At one time LoD was a GvG guild too.. but I think things changed.
