Why would I be pissed off or Jelous of people who "play" DF? I wasn't ever mad or Jelous of my computer when I let it macro the game for me, why would I care what your computers do for you? lol.
You're not jealous of the game. You obviously hate it. You are jealous that we are enjoying ourselves as a guild without you. Don't lie to yourself, why else would you still be coming to this forum to rag on the game?

No it just fixed the economy for player crafters and made everyone change their macros around. Oh and they raised skill gain by over 100%. Took khan less than day to get a witchcraft spell leveled to 50 just casting it non stop while we were dueling.
The only grind left is making gold to buy the reagents to cast the spells, but then again thats PvE and you could tolerate that for 10000 hours straight in any of the past games we played.

P.S- Actually moxie, if you played the game you would know that kokehead would wipe up Tyrantor. Tyrantor left the game for a reason, and it wasn't because of the grind. This is the guy who grinded a million builds in SB, and the guy who made how many characters in AoC before everyone else had one? Moving his mouse and aiming was to hard. He bailed before anyone noticed. He just picked some excuses and ran with it.
... who are you even talking about? I played AoC for a day.. knew it was shit and never looked back.. infact I'm pretty positive I've made quite a few posts about how shitty that game was... same with WaR.. both of those games you blessed with your right hand and swore it was the best thing since sliced bread. Turned out you were wrong.

My question was always why you really didn't like it. I remember you played up to phase 2 beta (when going past the starter area was pointless), but when they pretty much opened all the goodies, you didn't return to my knowledge.
I'm not sure which "phase" you consider phase 2... or if you consider "opened up the goodies" the "release" but if not.. then your knowledge isn't very accurate.

Phase two was 2nd round of invites. Phase 3 was when guilds were given 20 invites, and it was more of stress test, This was the time they unlocked a lot of things like clans, clan cities, overhead swing, spells, weapons, more skills, etc. Maybe you did play longer, but I don't remember seeing you at all. Then again I vaguely remeber seeing you in screenshots from Obs where you were in group.
As for the complaints about AoC, I do remeber that. They enforced a rule not to make posts bitching about the game in AoC private because of it.
Really your complaints now are pretty much towards non-existant parts of the game (aside from the mounted archery), but one of the main ones (the grind) is getting lowered again upon NA release. Apparently the "soft cap" hasn't existed this entire time to make the transfers feasible (allowing new players to catch up in the month before transfers start)..

Oh tearantor thats clever I'm impressed.. really.
I'm sure as riviting as it is to kill naked toons and "freshies" the game is probably thriving with conflict.
But the truth of the matter is and Roak posted it in the other thread... outside of Ice island there is hardly anything.. so while LoD may live in a blissful existance of moderately more pvp.. the other 90% of the game world is dying fast.
You don't think so when The Mercs are posting about how "its the most fun we've had in months" doing a simple city raid where people RESPONDED to it wearing armor?? lol. That says alot... you know what else says alot is the fact the Mercs are having to openly challenge LoD to a 8vs8... how borring must the game be to arrange this kind of thing?
Sounds similar to what happend in SB.. Yes sieges still happend and people still showed up to defend.. but outside of that the world was empty, borring and everyone quit. Its happening in DF.. the only difference is SB condenced servers.. DF is "expanding".. the EU server is dying... and will completely die once new servers are luanched.
But hey you'll have the US server until you're playing on the korean server for the next 3 years right obs??
you gotta stay off the forums man, your getting the wrong ideas from them.
the mercs are having more fun now because the last few months they were bound to a red city, now they see the fun in owning a city since they just took one.
they challenge everyone on the server to 8v8's because they, like others, cant really hack it on open pvp. i hope you dont base anything off of post with "themercs" in the thread, they are stuck in this neverending loop where, if they win its because they were outnumbered and if they lose it was because they were outnumbered, and the only way they feel they are still dominate if if they challenge other guilds in fair even fights..
kind of like queing up for bg's?
and lol at ice island having the most action, dont know where u heard that. center of agon has the most action, any island you go to you see tons of people, yes you got your noobs laying around starter cities. tho it usually is easy alot of times you go against 3:1 odds or more, and unlike most mmo's your not going to just take hits from them not worrying about dying. you can still die to a decent group of noobs.
as far as gear goes its tricky. most have lots of gear, its really doesnt matter anymore, its easy to get. the thing merc's dont realize is when ur dueling/skilling up in your city your usually naked so you dont break your armor. Most little guilds send 5 or 6 men into the city to kill a macro'er then just run to the next city.
by the time u suit up they are long gone. so most people dont bother. but most, if not all open pvp/raids/sieges people are wearing armor
and the world is open, and it does get a little tiring at times trying to find people outside of their cities, but at the same time it makes traveling work. with keen eyes and a good sense of awareness you can make it to any city mounted. i believe any more people would just make it so you needed a zerg to travel in this game.
i dont know who you are, but you were lod so i will give respect where respect is due, but since i got here i see you give out information about darkfall that amounts to reading clan discussion and general discussion on the df boards. and being a long term follower of mmos you should already know its the carebears and the shitty players with the loudest voices.
theres a reason you dont see many post about this game is the best game ever.... the people are busy playing it.
i think you can agree the game is a blast if these same people that you have played with for years in game is telling you they love this game.

I dont know wtf you are talking about Agon having action, LOL. As someone bound to mainland and pvps nightly, I can tell you that Agon is a GHOSTLAND. The only places you find action is clan cities. You have to go rape all their macroers and crafters then wait a good 10-15 minutes of fighting off the naked zerg before any geared people recall in to defend their oh-so-ever important clan city. Cairn is worse than Agon. Most action I've found in the game is up on Ice or around Yssam
The mercs and afghans are always having fun because their characters have been maxed out for the first month of the game. They operate with a huge advantgage over the standard player who didnt get to exploit their stats to 100 or skill up weaponmasteries, magic, rigor/ignore pain, etc to max level. Not whinning or crying about people with beefed up characters, because I dont really care. They end up dead anyways :P
I agree totally about the gear though. Especially after the recent announement of the NA server release.
And IMO DFO is the a good game. It still has a fuck ton of issues. The grind needs to be solved. They need to hire a fucking SALES TEAM to sell their product to fix the population problem. They need to make PvE more lucrative (loot table has needed to be revisited for a long time now). They need to fix the time you spend travelling from one place to another, that means adding some sort of mass transit (gate travel) and making a recall runes useful..seriously one charge? lol?
Anyways, I am anxious for NA server and lower ping. Really put the hurt on these chobs.

No he would kill you too. Our worst empire members would destroy either of you. The "i don't play the game, but continue to act hard" crew hasn't been doing so well. I'll put my money on somebody who actually plays the game.
As for everything Roak has said, it's a pretty accurate description of the downfalls of the games design. Except I've never been to any continent that didn't have our same population\wars\etc. Time of day that you play is probably the most important factor with finding fights. We all know what sucks about this game, well those who play it do. If its not on the suck list it makes the game better. If its on the suck list it will probably be patched too.
"spells don't have pretty enough graphics" aren't on my suck list. So we can see how we all have different priorities.

The grind will be much essier on NA release. The soft cap will finally be introduced, hence the reason transfers will be feasile. I want to say new NA players upon the NA release will be able to come close to par with a developed character in a month or so.
As for the promotional ads and such, I'm sure we'll see quite a few when the realese date is set in stone and not tentative. Surely they will have a few investors, go corporate, and then advertising will be everywhere.
To add to everything, anything that has been on the suck list, and presented to AV (aside from carebear complaints), usually get fixed, changed, or whatever to benefit the game.
While the mainland might not be a hot spot for pvp for some guilds, I haven't had an issue finding a red or orange wherever I go on the mainland. So I really have no idea what's up with that.
