first off, i'm not upset at all. i'm trying to point out why people are upset with the comments that you are making. You've made your opinion known, and are now just beating it into the forums.

Let's not get into a semantic argument. 'Stupid' may have been a poor word to use on my part, but I don't think the point is lost in that you use belittling comments towards those who play and enjoy a game.
This game isn't the best. There are games that have done it better, and this game isn't doing anything super unique. Still, I do think DF is a pretty fun game to play. However, what makes this game fun, isn't the game all by itself, but who I play the game with. I really enjoy playing this game with the friends that I have made over the years with LoD, and the new ones that we bring in.
If you dislike this game, you obviously do not have to play it. You can yell kick and scream about what you think sucks and that we are all "bored/desperate" people. If the game dies, you can tell us "I told you so", but I don't think anyone will care. This game is fun for the moment we are playing it, just as all the other games that LoD played in the past.
I bet even WoW was fun for a second...maybe.
When I started to play with LoD again, I'd heard some really nice comments about you. So, maybe in the near future, after the game has some polish and hasn't died as you predict, you should give it another shot and come play with the friends you've made in LoD.
