Hawaii's racism? Where? You mean against "haoles" ? I was born and raised in Hawaii (as a "haole") and I love it there. I want to move back there eventually.
I like San Diego because of the similar weather to Hawaii, not being stuck on an island in the middle of the ocean, and the fantastic craft-beer culture. I homebrew my own beer and live about 1.5 hours north of San Diego.
